I Surf I Vote 1-Day Events
I Surf I Vote 1-Day Events
During these one-day activations, we bring together community members at their local beaches along the West and East Coasts of the US to hear testimonials about issues that impact their beloved surf spots, and how to engage in meaningful ways to protect them. Participants come with surfboards in tow, and together spell out “VOTE” in the sand, creating a visual representation of the direct action they commit to take. From North Carolina to California, I Surf, I Vote have brought together over 400 participants since 2018.

These casual town halls bring in leaders from various sectors including surfing, activism, marine biology, and sustainably-made products to share their passions, why they love the ocean and what they are doing to save it. Participants leave energized by the stories they hear and the relationships they build.

I Surf, I Vote seeks to remove as many barriers as possible so that people can exercise their right to vote. At all of our educational events listed above, we provide opportunities for folks to register to vote, and launch strategic online campaigns to encourage the same.
